Our fine art matte papers are excellent choices for printing reproductions of paintings, etching, illustrations, as well as photography. We offer a curated selection of matte papers from Epson, Moab, Canson and Hahnemühle. These thick cotton base papers have no gloss at all, and range from extremely smooth to beautifully textured. Our pigment inks have superior archival performance as well as a broad color gamut.

Smooth matte cotton paper with rich blacks
Crafted from 100% cotton, Epson Hot Press Bright is an archival paper boasting an exceptionally smooth surface. It excels in rendering stunning, deeply saturated colors alongside the richest, velvety blacks among all matte papers. Textured matte cotton paper with rich blacks
100% cotton, acid free base, pH buffered, Epson Cold Press Bright is an archival paper featuring an appealing textured surface that readily absorbs ink. It has a bright white surface excellent for color and black & white reproduction. Remarkably, it stands as on of the select textured papers accessible in expansive 60″ width rolls, offering versatile dimensions of up to 60″ by any desired length.

Lightly textured matte cotton paper with rich blacks
Moab Entrada 290 BW (smooth matte) is 100% cotton, archival, and has a lightly textured surface. A great alternative to the Epson Hot Press Bright which has had some availability problems during the past few years. This paper is also able to display saturated colors due to its bright white base. It’s similar to the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308 paper but with a brighter white point.
Best for: Artwork reproduction, giclee prints, and photographs.

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth (smooth matte) is a 100% cotton, 305gsm, archival paper with an incredibly smooth surface. It looks just as silky as it feels, and is often used for reproduction of artworks originally created on smooth papers.

Highly textured paper for special applications – notably fragile surface that requires extreme care
Hahnemühle William Turner (highly textured matte) is a mould-made 310gsm fine art paper with distinctive finish. It is the most textured paper we offer, and most commonly used for fine artwork reproductions, but also looks incredible with the right kind of image. The surface is delicate and difficult to print on, but with suitable subject matter and extra handling William Turneryields beautiful prints. Up to 44″ wide by any length.
Best for: Artwork reproduction & giclee prints
NOTE: This is the most delicate paper surface that we offer and care must be taken in handling the prints as the highly textured surface flakes easily and may require retouching before framing. Not recommended for portfolios or situations where prints will have a lot of handling. Not the best choice for low-key/dark images or images with large solid areas of color.

Very Warm bamboo/cotton mix using highly sustainable materials
Hahnemühle Bamboo (watercolor bamboo matte paper) from Hahnemüle’s Natural Line, this is our warmest paper. This paper offers a matte natural surface well suited for warm-toned images. It delivers a thickness of 290gsm for a good weight and feel, and does not use any optical brightening agents for maximum longevity.
